November 7th, 2005 — Boys Soccer
With the win tonight, the Pershing Boys claimed their 6th middle school championship. Cherokee has also won 6 boys middle school soccer championships.
Over the past 3 years, the Pershing Boys have a record of 25-3-0. The Cherokee Boys have a record of 26-4-0 in that same time period.
In head-to-head matches over the past 3 years, Pershing leads the series, 4-2.

The Varsity Boys are on a 19-game winning streak. Their last loss was to Cherokee in the championship game on October 27, 2003
The Varsity Girls are on a 10-game winning st reak. Their last loss was to Cherokee in the semifinals on May 17, 2004.
Combined, the Pershing Varsity Soccer teams are on a 28-game winning streak.
November 7th, 2005 — Boys Soccer

The Varsity defeated Cherokee, 3-0, to claim the school’s first back-to-back soccer championships. It is the 6th boy’s soccer championship at Pershing
