The Varsity championship game has been postponed again. We will now play on Wednesday the 25th at 7:30. Cooper #1.

The Varsity game against Nixa that was scheduled for Friday 5/20 at 7:30 has been moved to Monday 5/23 at 7:00 pm. The game will played at the Cooper #1 stadium field.

The MSV Championship game scheduled for 7:30 pm tonight on Cooper 1 has been cancelled due to weather and rescheduled to Monday May 23 7:00 pm on Cooper 1.

Pershing will take on the #1 seed Nixa on Friday night at 7:30 pm. The game will be played on Cooper #1 -  the big stadium field.

Come support your Varsity soccer team and cheer them on to a victory!

The Lady Generals start their playoff run tonight against Cherokee at 7:30.  The game will be played on field #14. Players need to be at the field at 7:00 and need to come ready to play. Cherokee won their first game of the year against Ozark Friday. They aren’t going to give anything to us. We are going to have to earn it!

JV will practice for the last time this season on Tuesday night May 17th from 5:15 to 7:00 pm at Pershing.

The last JV game is Sunday May 22nd at 3:00 pm on Field 10. Please arrive to the field at 2:30. Field 10 is located at the North fields on the bottom tier closest to the road (Pythian).

Please contact Coach Knetzer by Friday this week if you will not be at the last game.

Tonight JV will play at 6:00 pm vs Nixa. The game is on Field 8.

Field 8 is located on Patterson Ave South of the indoor soccer dome on the lowest tier of fields by the wooded area. Please arrive by 5:30.

The last JV game will be Sunday May 22nd at 3:00pm on Field 10.

JV will practice next week on Tuesday 5/17 and Thursday 5/19 at Pershing.

The Lady Generals rolled last night soundly beating Cherokee 7-1.  Alyse Weaver had a hat trick, Kristin Knetzer scored twice and McKenzie Robbins and Kasey Opfer each scored once. Alyse and Kristin are sure starters next year so the future looks good!

Kasey also had three assists including a blistering pass up the middle which Alyse ran up on and scored her first goal of the night. All this was done with our two starting forwards, Olivia Wolfram (shoulder) and Kennedy Graves (sick), sidelined.

The Generals have earned the #2 seed in the playoffs with a 5-2 record and, most importantly, a first round bye. Our first playoff game is Monday at 7:30 on field #14 against the winner of the Ozark/Cherokee game.

Great game girls! Great season too! The real fun starts now. Let’s bring the City Championship home where it belongs!
