The Vasity girls came away with a BIG 1-0 win against Cherokee last night to move on to the Middle School Championship game. The Championship game will be a re-match of last year’s game between Nixa and Pershing.

All players need to be at the field and ready to warm up by 5:30! Let’s show the Lady Eagles who the Lady Generals REALLY are and bring the Championship back to Pershing for the 2nd year in a ROW!!

May 2nd, 2012 — Girls Soccer
Remember – we will attend the Glendale girls soccer games Thursday night as our practice. We will meet in the parking lot at Cooper Stadium field at 5:30 (regular practice time). Plan to be picked up at 7:30. If you need a ride please contact me or Coach Bruce. If have another pre-scheduled activity (another practice etc), please let one of us know.
GAMES THIS WEEK:
Varsity had an off night and struggled from the beginning. There were a few bright moments when the girls moved the ball nicely down field and made a beautiful cross to score the first goal. However, the night belonged to Ozark who fought hard, played together as a team and never let down to acheive their first win of their season. I look for a better game on Monday against Cherokee.
Both JV teams also continue to struggle. Mary P had her first goal of the season – congrats! Keep your heads up girls. As long as you are learning, we will consider this a successful season.
Go Lady Generals!
